So…yesterday…the cats set up guard on the dining room table….a baby bluejay found his wings and made it over to the back of the front porch rocker.
Mama or probably Daddy did not like the fact that I was moving around in my own front yard, for crying out loud.

Do you remember the crows on the jungle gym at the playground (in the movie)? It was frightening.
On another note, bluejay parents are usually pretty crabby. It’s no wonder the kids moved out early. Take them some unsalted, unroasted peanuts in the shell. Bluejays love them.
