I’m home drinking a glass of cheap wine and eating spinzels braided butter flavored pretzels that I bought at Menards tonight.  The weekend has been fun.  Last night, I went to dinner with Deb and Jeff.  Glad the 3 of us were finally able to get together.  No scrapbooking but we went to Deb’s after dinner and talked about old time..we’ve all known each other for 40 years give or take a couple.

I got back to Newton from Des Moines somewhere between 2a and 3am… 

Tonight, I went to Indianola (which is about 15 miles south of Des Moines) to watch my son-in-law, Ryan race.  Let me preface this by saying that I’m not going to start racing, but I have to say that while they were making all of those left turns, I was feelin-it.

I don’t really think you have to be crazy to race but I think it does give you an edge!!

Jenny rode home with me and we stopped at Target to get Roman shades for the green room windows and paint so I can possibly get rid of the horrible looking walls before I go back to work.
