Quiet on the Western Front

Ref yesterday’s rant…he’s not speaking to me…Since he’s gone to work, I’ve been drinking red wine and crocheting…I decided to take pics of the Christmas stockings I have made.  When I uploaded them, they were vertical but on xanga they are horizontal…but you’ll get the idea….

I need to perfect the foot part of the stocking…it is the only thing I don’t like about the pattern..I think I have it figured out..plus on Christmas morning when they are stuffed to the brim, will it really matter 🙂 I have one more to finish before I go to bed so I’m going back to watching The Dog Whisperer and my crocheting.

Until next time….

  2. Those are awesome!  I envy anyone who can do stuff like that.  I have neither the coordination, concentration or ability.  I’m quite able to do the wine part though.     My HIM and I are having issues too.  Maybe it’s the moon or lack of light or pms or just that they’re stupid poophead boys.

  3. Wow, you made a lot of them!  How long do they take?  Do you make them in pieces and then put them together?  I used to crochet a lot but I haven’t touched it in a long time; yarn is so expensive!

  4. Love the stockings, how hard are the patterns? Where did you get them? I bet those could be whipped up pretty quick. What did you or are you going to do with all of them?
