I was so excited to find the C W Parker Carousel Museum in Leavenworth,Kansas about an hour away. Carousels are magical for me…I think it’s a little slice of childhood that didn’t leave me….happy memories of lights and tinkling music and going around and around with my hair blowing in the breeze.

Looking forward to my yearly trip to Union Park in Des Moines for my ride on the Heritage Carousel!
