I had a nice birthday…I celebrated with family minus Katy over at Jenny and Ryans on the 8th.  She made Taco Soup and tuna noodle casserole, peas and her pumpkin bars.  Quite a combination but everything was wonderful…she wanted me to be sure and annouce to everyone that the menu was my idea 🙂   On my actual birthday I slept late, he fixed roast, potatoes and carrots for supper, I checked Facebook every few minutes to enjoy birthday greetings from my friends, set up the critter cam again on xanga/crittertv and then we watched the secret life of bees and I snuck the dogs popcorn 🙂

The only downer to the week was an email from my friend, Vicki annoucing that she has thyroid cancer.  She says it is 99.9 percent curable but there is always that .1 percent to worry about…we are going to have an old fashioned prayer meeting at Julie’s house on Wednesday to lift her up….

…and the most shocking news of the week….March 9th, my birthday is also Barbie’s birthday…I cannot believe that I didn’t know this before…I thought it was exciting that Jeremy the deputy and Wendy the chief Jailer and I shared a birthday…but Barbie too…I almost feel cheated that I didn’t know this before!  Thanks Kris Smith for finally bringing it to light.

So with all of that news, I’m going to go use the green machine on the carpet…3 large dogs, 3 days of rain and mud…need I say more.
