Happiness gently landed on my shoulders

We are supposed to get dumped on again today…with snow…there have been many forecasts…sounds like the latest one suggests we may receive snow for about 6 hours and will receive 1 to 2 inches per hour…we’ll see. 

ref politics and our economy…I’ll try to keep this short.  What in the hell is all of the rhetorical crap spewing out of the republicans mouth about Obama’s plan and spending…this makes no sense to me…under W’s watch we throw millions and millions of dollars at the bank officials who already make way too much money in comparison to their worth…there are no safety nets in place; no one is responsible to make sure the money is spent correctly and we have banks buying up other banks and giving bonus checks out and taking vacations…and they insist they aren’t using bail-out money for that…WTF…it doesn’t make it any better because if they have the money to throw to the wind, why are we giving them taxpayer money….some dumb ass dropped the ball here…and now, NOW, these same “dumb asses” are complaining because Obama’s plan is to “spend” money trying to build the working man back up…putting folks to work, using the taxpayer’s money for the taxpayers….I promised to keep it short so I will end with nothing makes me want to say the “f” word more than now to describe these inconsistencies.

…and now sirius radio is not going to offer internet listening after March without charging an extra monthly fee…

…I have few credit cards that I use, but it seems my interest rates are going up….I thought the plan here was to lower interest rates so the American public would go out and spend it up.

I have good news amongst all of the weeds.  Mr. Hall has kicked his cancer aside again…thing are looking up!!!  Now I can think about him without feeling sick in my heart!!!  Love you, Mr. Hall!!!

I’m sure I”ll be in a better mood tomorrow night after I drag my a** to work in a foot of snow…

I apologize for the colorful language in this post but sometimes I just find it necessary truly express how mad I am…at least I didn’t type the bad words with capital letters with a larger font and color…it could be worse…

    I have mostly been ignoring all things political.  I don’t want to sound apathetic but there’s not much I can do about any of it – so I don’t really watch or listen with much interest or true concern.  There’s such a spin on all of the various news channels and news papers that it’s hard to get to the real truth of the matter anyhow.  Once I really want to know about something I do my research from as many credible sources as I can find before I form any real opinion.  It’ll take the new administration some time to build up some steam and get rolling I suspect. I do hope that somewhere down the line there is some true bipartisanship to be found!    RE CC’s, call them.  Many times if you ASK they’ll lower your rate.  Raise a ruckus and tell them you want to cancel your card because the interest rate is too high and they’ll usually lower it for you.  We did that with success about 98% of the time.  Good news about your friend.

    I read a really interesting article about rethugs and spending.  It used a very interesting phrase to describe what they want done, of course, I can’t remember it.  Basically, it is socialism for the rich elite.  They are ok when the government gives them money, ie bank bailout and tax cuts.  They in no way want the government to help regular people  with the stimulus bill but the government sure better help them.  Unbelievable.  Good news for Mr Hall!
