So, “he” and I had to go to Des Moines today for several things…I had to pick up some things for the animal rescue league fundraiser, he had to have service on the truck, I needed yarn…and I wanted to get something comfortable, yet look nice for the fund raiser…here’s the part I just have to tell you…..

While we were walking thru the mall to the clothing store, I pointed out a bench and told him that he could sit there while I was finding something…so he sat down but had the look like I ordered him to do it…I said, you don’t have to sit there, you can come in with me if you want to … so he did….he helped me pick out clothes…he sat outside the fitting room and fetched me different sizes…he even brought me stuff that he saw that he liked, just thru them over the door and said do you like this…I ended up with an orchard colored (what he calls) a tuxedo shirt but couldn’t find any pants…so we walked down to Younkers and he is the one who actually came up with the gray pants….. uh huh…what are you thinking about that….there’s no way I can put that pillow over his face tonight while he is sleeping….almost a perfect husband, I would say….

The one really humorous thing..while we were in Petco…I decided I needed a small litter box to put everything in for the auction – rather than a basket with celophane, I thought the stuff could be organized nicely in a litter box.  I got some cat toys, a cat treat cookbook, a cat bowl etc.  He’s down the aisle holding the litter box and I said…I think I want tan…he said WELL WHAT IS THIS…I said BLUE….oh, I thought you said pan 🙂  Maybe it was one of those things you had to be there LOL.

Anyway…I have to take a nap.  I was up at 0400 because I couldn’t sleep and I have to stay up all night tonight so I’ll sleep tomorrow – tomorrow night is my first night back…once again, Tracy…you’ll probably be the only one sleeping tonight (it’s a facebook joke).
