Okay – here’s the deal…keep in mind that I have 3 long hair cats, 2 labs and a golden retriever.  The first day I used it, I just used it in the living room – I vacuumed with the regular vacuum first because it had been two days..I had no problems – the roomba actually picked up more stuff.  I have a shag rug under the coffee table…it doesn’t do good on shag…it slowly makes it’s way off of it…this is a pretty heavy shag rug – maybe you can see in the pictures.  The next day…I turned it loose in the living room – I had to clean the brushes once and in 1.5 hours, I let it go to the kitchen, hallway and bathroom which I hadn’t vacuumed in 3 days.  It clog two more times.  Basically it shuts down and ask you to clean out the brushes…and it isn’t even the brushes that seem to be the problem it is around the brushes on each end where they attach to the Roomba..it wraps around… I got nothing done yesterday because of the flu, so later I will vaccuum because I can see lots of hair and then run the Roomba and give a report.

By the way…I had a flu shot, wash my hands a lot, use anti-bacterial stuff on my hands and I still got the flu yesterday…Kate was driving home to Ohio and she had the flu also…we obviously got it at the same place.  Very bad…my daughter is very strong because I could barely make it to the bathroom – let alone drive a car thru it.
