Okay…here’s the real deal.  Late at night one night, someone was in bed craving a banana split…but all they had in the cupboard was oreo cookies…they were not only like mother hubbard – but they were broke….they had no money…so night after night they thought about banana splits and somehow because of the oreo cookies they had been eating, they thought..hmmm I love both banana splits and oreo cookies – I think someday I’ll put them together – what would be the easiest way  – and thus was born the banana split oreo cookie…for some the aroma when the bag is opened may be enough – and you will be the lucky ones…because once you taste them – life will never be the same.  I’m just tellin’ ya.
