Happiness gently landed on my shoulders

I feel almost guilty saying this but WHERE IS EVERYONE….I’ve been on vacation and didn’t blog for a couple of weeks but is everyone on vacation? 

I’m thinking about making apple crisp….

It is so nice today in Iowa…just the perfect fall day…

The Titanic Year in the Brown family 001

I have been uploading pics to my Facebook.  This one made me smile!!!  We had it taken when we went to the Wisconsin Dells back in the year that the Titanic movie came out and both of my girls were totally obscessed with the movie and all of the memorabilia that went along with it.  I don’t want to even think about how many hours they sat in front of the tube watching the movie over and over.

I have an Obama/Biden sign in my yard…I have not had a political sign in my yard before…never quite felt so committed to a candidate…it won’t be long….

Do you ever think about how many germs are on the mouse and keyboard of your computer?  I have a touchscreen radio at work and sometimes I don’t wipe it off when I start my shift..it has to be covered with germs and other things I can’t see and just don’t want to know about…

I like this random thought process…doing it this way makes it similar to Facebook…hmmmm

I’m random-ed out…it’s time to pay bills….

    What a cute pic!  I know – I like the short/simple facebook thing too.  I’ve just started to play around with it in a non committal sort of way.    People around here have signs stolen or vandalized – crazy stuff like that.  They’ve started hanging them from trees so people don’t take them.  Ridiculous!    Imagine the germs on people hands when you shake hands or on your set of keys or the can of soda you get out of the machine – or the groceries you touch in the store!  They’re just everywhere!  We should be covered in lysol wipes!

    If you find out where everyone is, let me know…I haven’t seen them!  : )That is such a neat photograph..I haven’t seen that setup, and it turned out really well.I just read the other day that the computer mouse and keyboard are both germ hotbeds, as are any kind of handles.  I guess there’s really no escaping it, and it’s a wonder we aren’t all sick all of the time!

    That’s cute.  What a good looking family.  I do think about the germs on the mouse etc. I work with plants and one time I took a swab of my key board and grew it on a petri dish and it had soil fungus on it.  I need to wash my hands more.
